Lavishly appointed, recently redecorated and incomparably comfortable, The Makers Lodge is a two-storey, 5,800-square-foot, 7 bedrooms country estate outfitted with everything from a full-service kitchen, two bar areas and a two-story fireplace, to the latest in modern conveniences and, cutting-edge entertainment and comfort.
It even has its own movie theater. And that’s just indoors! Outside, there’s an in-ground swimming pool, 16-person, in-ground commercial-grade hot tub, a cooking pavilion and even an 18th-century, European-inspired firebrick oven where guests may try their hands at making artisan pizza, flatbreads and other wood-fired baked goods: the first of its kind in the Hocking Hills lodging scene.
But, as is the case with every Ohio Luxury Lodging property, the high-caliber experience The Maker’s Lodge provides its guests goes far beyond what meets the eye.

In order to book your stay at The Makers Lodge, you need to be at least 30 years old. We may require valid ID upon check-in. Our facility is not available for after-prom activities, high school graduation, formal college parties, fraternity or sorority parties, or bachelor or bachelorette parties. All events held at Bourbon Ridge Retreat are subject to owners/management approval. The maximum number of occupants is 24 and only registered guests of your party will have access to the property. No exceptions. Glass is NOT permitted so plan accordingly.
We require a $1000 security deposit for all reservations. This is not included with the rental fees associated with your stay. This security deposit is required 14 days prior to your check in date. However, we will not deposit the check until seven days before your arrival in order to verify funds. Deposits are usually returned to guests within five to seven business days after your departure. The security deposit will be conditionally, but happily, refunded.
